WISH
Short film, 2021
Wish is a short film directed by Haiwei Sun. Wish happens inside a little girl's house where she encounters an alien that changes her perspective towards life in a complete flip.
My approach to achieving a household where a little girl lives mainly focuses on what a little girl would create during her age. From her creative expressions to her everyday events that are a main part of her life were explored to create a room for this girl.
RESEARCH
SET DRESSING
The set dressing for Wish consists of objects that a 7 year old girl would interact with everyday.
A room is set up with drawings and decorations that show the character's life; though from a production design point of view, the intent of design comes to utilizing those props and set dressing to show the character's state of mind.
